DANNY HOWELLS – Biografia
b. 24 November 1970, Hastings, Sussex, England. Although not yet in the superstar DJ elite, Howells is a popular and respected stalwart of the UK's progressive house scene and made his name as a resident at John Digweed's universally acclaimed club, Bedrock. He has also played residencies at clubs such as Renaissance, Cream and the Ministry Of Sound, as well as at venues around the world. A former psychiatric nurse, he has released a number of mix compilation albums, initially on the celebrated Jackpot label, and on Digweed's Bedrock label with his studio partner Dick Trevor, as Science Department. Their first single "Repercussion/Persuasion" was single of the month in the UK-based dance music magazines Ministry, Mixmag and 7. In 2000, Howells completed remix work for Robbie Williams, BT, David Morales and Stonebridge and worked on a Nu Breed album for the Global Underground series. Following his departure from Bedrock later in the year, Howells signed up for a new residency at New York City's Twilo.
